The title of this blog refers to my long term goals of getting off the couch and going to run! For longer then I can remember, I have been known as a napper. Actually they were less like naps and more like second sleeps as I would call them, lasting 2 or more hours sometimes (I know I know). And while I have no problems with naps and still LOVE them, I think I was really missing out on life. SO that’s where this blog comes in. This blog is about my journey to being active and healthy, and living life in general. For too long I have been stuck on the couch, so after some persuasion I got up and started running and lifting and eating foods that aren’t burritos. I have lost a little weight and have a little more to go, making building healthy habits my ultimate goal!
